Dont let the food police get over on you

With the recent trends toward healtier foods in restaurants, particlarly the trans fat ban in New York the food police are definately on the prowl. Our customers more and more are looking to us to provide them with healtier choices on our menus. I tend to believe that we ought to give the customers what it is they want but at the same time be on the lookout for those bureaucrats that want to make our jobs that much harder.

Dry cleaning scam

Attention all restaurant owners. BEWARE the dry cleaning scam. you may get a letter that indicates one of your waitstaff inadvertantly spilled on one of your customers included with a phony bill. This is more than likely a bogus attempt to get you to part with 40 or 50 dollars. Be sure to verify all inquiries of this type.
